Behind the song
Sometimes worship is simply remembering.
There are seasons when our prayers are full of questions. We come to God carrying things we need, things we don’t understand and things we’re still waiting for.
But worship has a way of shifting our attention.
For a moment, we’re reminded that God is bigger than the thing in front of us.
That’s part of the heart behind Yahweh.
The song isn’t about trying to explain everything about God. I don’t think we could.
It’s about acknowledging Him. Remembering His greatness. And allowing who He is to become bigger in our hearts than whatever else has been demanding our attention.
